MASTER HAN

Master Sang Jin Han has 15 years experience in the art of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. He began his training at the age of 13 and attended Song Moo Kwon Martial Arts Academy until 1997 with a major focus on Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. He received his 5th Dan in Korea in 1997.

Master Han believes in a very focused approach working with both children and adults. He strives to instill confidence, respect, and discipline within each of his students regardless of age. While working with the children, Master Han creates an environment that helps develop their self-confidence and respect as individuals, while teaching them the basics of self-defense within the art of Tae Kwon Do.

Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do are two of the major areas of focus working with the adult students. Master Han has a disciplined approach while teaching his adult students that emphasizes self-improvement, both physically and mentally. These development areas are the building blocks Master Han uses to further develop their self-defense abilities within the art of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.

Although Master Han's practice is not of a competitive orientation, he works with both children and adults that express a specific interest in the area of competition. While working with these individuals, Master Han continues to emphasize and build upon respect, discipline, and confidence as the key ingredients even within competition.

Master Han is also experienced in the art of Kumdo. Kumdo is the art of attaining mental, spiritual, and physical harmony through the manipulation of the sword in the manner of meditation. This training is a new program that is currently being offered at T-USA.
